Quinn Frehner found advertising sideways. As the founder of a footwear company, he realized the part he loved most was the story around the product: how a brand earns attention, then trust, then a place in someone's life. That pull set the course he has followed for more than a decade, from founder, to a music label, to the agencies and individuals building for the world's most influential brands.
At Terri & Sandy he learned to bring social and cultural rigor to rooms that had never worked that way. At Annex88 he led strategy for adidas Originals and guided a full spirits portfolio through repositioning. At Translation he led creative, cultural, social, and comms strategy for Beats by Dre, Nike, PUMA, Chase, and NBA 2K, and built a proprietary method for mapping fandoms and surfacing cultural insight that became an offering of its own.
At OK COOL he built the strategy practice from the ground up: hiring a team of creative strategists, community managers, and social analysts, and designing the processes, workstreams, and services that run it.
Alongside agency work, he partners directly with founders and properties, from Draymond Green's The New Media to a first-of-its-kind prediction market that was acquired by DraftKings.
Across Fortune 100 companies, leagues, and early-stage startups, the through line is method: giving teams a shared way to read culture, decide how to enter it, and brief work that builds brand equity instead of renting attention.
He is equal parts strategist and creative conceptualizer. He builds the case and the idea in the same motion, so the work arrives with an argument underneath and a point of view on top.
